Article XII:  Enumerated Core Values and Items of Historical Value

In order that the National Atheist Party retain the focus and intent of the founder(s), any change in the core values or the items of historical value of the party must be passed by a super majority of the registered membership of 75% or greater. The core values of the party consist of:

* The name “National Atheist Party”

* The latin motto “E mentibus pluribus una sententia”

* The English motto “From Diversity and Reason, Unity”

* Our mission statement

* Our stated posture of “using evidence based data and the scientific method to find workable solutions for social and political problems.”

* Officially adopted logos and indicia.
